Terms and Condition

Before driving you must:

  • ...show the instructor, on the first lesson, your valid UK Provisional or Full driving licence for insurance purposes.
• ...be fit and legal to drive, it's the licence holders responsibility to ensure they are fit to drive on their lessons and test.
 
• Payment for each lesson is due at the beginning of each lesson, unless the lesson has been prepaid.

• For foreseeable cancellation reasons, 24 hours notice must be given to cancel lessons, otherwise cancelled lesson slots half fee is chargeable.

• We reserve the right to cancel further lessons if lessons are constantly missed.

• Driving tests take priority over lessons, so if we receive a test, booked at short notice, we may have to change lessons so notice will be given. We will always do our best to book you in for another day or time.
 
• The driving school car will of course be made available for your test however, if we feel you are not ready for the test, but you still insist on taking your test, we reserve the right to withhold the use of the driving school car for safety and insurance reasons.
 
• We cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of your test by the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). Your test fee will usually be refunded by the DVSA. Any fees payable to A1-SDS, however will still need to be paid, alternatively a standard lesson will be alloted in that time slot instead.  Some of these fees could possibly be claimed back from the DVSA.
 
  • A1-SDS has a strict no smoking policy in the vehicle. Smoking breaks can however be taken during your lesson if required.
 
• A1-SDS Instructor, does not discriminate against religion, colour, race, gender or sexual orientation.
